the object

Machined from solid stainless steel and polished until it holds the light the way the smoke holds the air. It has the weight to sit certain on a table and the calm to disappear into it. Nothing to adjust, nothing to break — a form resolved down to what the flame needs.

origin

Machined and finished in small runs, built to outlast every stick it holds.

the ritual

Set the stick, light it, and let the steel do the holding — the ash falls where it should. Afterwards, tip the ash away and wipe the surface with a dry cloth. It cleans in seconds and is ready for tomorrow; the holder keeps no trace of the burn except its purpose.

We choose every material for where it comes from and whose hands it passed through. Working toward B Corp certification — and toward leaving each source better than we met it.

the objects

Sculptural holders and vessels — made with designers and artisans, to hold the flame and mark the ritual. They arrive later this year.
